Meet the gang!

Astrid

Donner Electro-Acoustic Tenor Ukulele My second ukulele ever. It was a Hanukkah gift from when I was 16 and the name came to immediately.

R. W. Jameson Electro-Acoustic Guitar My first guitar that I asked for for my sixteenth birthday, specifically to write music with since I wanted to upgrade from four strings. I had no specifications for what kind of guitar I wanted; I just wanted it to be blue. It was a nice simple instruction for my parents.

Cassius

Schecter Diamond Series C-6 Plus Electric Guitar A gift from one of my best friends in Summer 2020 who didn't think it was her style. It's possibly a little too edgy for me also, but it's special because it came from them.

Timothy

Fender Squier Mini Electric Bass Nineteenth birthday present after developing an interest in learning bass two years earlier. Named after a professor who left my university who. He was a bass player and he made a big impact on my music-making.

Yamaha FGX830C Cutaway Electro-Acoustic Guitar My second guitar. A high school graduation present. Same model as the one I used in school in my New Music elective. I wanted one just like it.

Tallulah

Tallulah

Makala Soprano Ukulele My first stringed instrument, a Hanukkah present from the winter of 2015. I decided I wanted a ukulele after a friend from school brought hers in and let me play it. I hardly wanted to give it back. I had seen this particular ukulele in a Sam Ash and I loved the color. I have since decorated it myself and gave it a little school spirit. Go 'Canes!

Arnold

Arnold

Silvertone Baritone Ukulele A gift from a friend of my parents' who loved it very much but didn't quite have a use for it anymore. My mother snagged it knowing I would love it, and I do. My brother came up with the name as a joke, but little did he know I thought it was perfect.

...and hopefully more someday
